Bob Gagliano passed for two touchdowns and John Williams ran for a pair to give the Michigan Panthers a 28-10 victory over the New Orleans Breakers in USFL contest on Monday night.

Gagliano hit Eric Truvillion on a 26-yard touchdown pass in the second frame and again found the ex-Bandit on a 10-yarder in the third.

The Breakers scored with 4:38 remaining in the first half on Tim Mazzetti's 39-yard field goal and crept to within 10-7 but were held scoreless in the second half.

John Williams sealed the victory with a pair of touchdown runs in the third quarter as the (3-1) Panthers cruised to victory.

In other Week #4 action;

On Saturday night, the Houston Gamblers edged Denver 26-23 as Jim Kelly found Clarence Verdin on a pair of touchdown throws, meanwhile Memphis remained undefeated after trouncing Los Angeles 49-13 in a game played in San Diego.

On Sunday, the Baltimore Stars evened up their record at (2-2) after posting a 23-21 win over Tampa Bay.

In Orlando, the Renegades surprised Birmingham 32-7 as Jeff Brockhaus kicked six field goals, and Reggie Collier posted two touchdowns against his former team.

Lastly, the Arizona Outlaws cruised to a 31-14 win at Oakland as Doug Willimas connected on a trio of touchdowns to Al Williams.
