Tight end Mark Keel, who has played with three different teams in his three years in the United States Football league, signed a long-term contract with the Arizona Outlaws, it was announced Tuesday.

Keel, who played for the University of Arizona in college, started his USFL career with the Arizona franchise in 1983, catching 65 passes for 802 yards.

In 1984, Keel caught 23 passes for 265 yards for Chicago and last season, Keel had 53 receptions for 585 yards for Jacksonville.
