Former Georgia center Wayne Radloff, who has spent the last two years with the Michigan Panthers of the United States Football League, signed a futures’ contract with the Atlanta Falcons Friday.

Radloff, a 6-foot-5, 270-pounder, was an All-Southeastern Conference lineman with the Bulldogs in 1982 and the All-USFL center with the Panthers last season.

“We are excited about the prospect of having Wayne for next season,” Atlanta Coach Dan Henning said. “We were impressed with his play and feel he can contribute to our team.”

Radloff will join the Falcons after the conclusion of the current USFL season.

Earlier this week, the Falcons signed former Duke quarterback Ben Bennett, who was released by the USFL's Jacksonville Bulls. Atlanta drafted Bennett in the sixth round last year but he opted to sign with the USFL club.
