USFL commissioner Chet Simmons levied a fine Tuesday against Jacksonville Bulls owner Fred Bullard and banned him from the bench for the rest of the season.
Simmons described Bullard's conduct in a May 25th game as detrimental to the team and the USFL.
Bullard went on the field to criticize officials during the game and continued this harrangue after the contest.
“Public displays and media outbursts by ownership have no place ... and will not be tolerated by the league,” Simmons said.
