The Jacksonville Bulls have waived three players and completed two trades.

The team said Wednesday quarterback Robbie Mahfouz, center Jay Pennison and tackle A.V. Richards had been released.

The USFL team also swapped punter Jeff Pierce to the New Orleans Breakers for an undisclosed draft choice in the college draft.

In addition, the team acquired OT Chris Riehm from the Houston Gamblers for undisclosed draft picks in the 1986 draft.

The Bulls also signed former Duke quarterback Ron Sally who was with Tampa Bay last season, they also added veteran running backs LaRue Harrington and Marck Harrison, WR Frank Lockett, TE Paul Ricker, OC Wally Pesuit, LB Mike Edwards and DB Michael Thomas.
