'92 Chronology-Bullish on Baltimore

John Settle rushed for a 118 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries, leading Baltimore to a 34-3 pummeling of Tampa Bay.

Chuck Fusina played second fiddle to Settle's heroics, throwing for 129 yards on 9-of-13 attempts while tossing two touchdowns to Bob Niziolek, who hauled in three balls for 25 yards. The Stars (4-4) have won two straight.

Ben Bennett had a rough outing, getting sacked five times in the loss while finishing with just 72 yards on 7-of-15 efficiency for the Bandits (2-6), who won last week. Greg Boone logged 64 yards on a dozen carries in defeat.

Fusina and Niziolek hooked up for a 10-yard score late in the second quarter giving Baltimore a 14-3 lead at the half. Settle added a five yard run to open the scoring for the Stars.

David Trout opened the scoring in the second half with a 30-yard field goal in the third.

Niziolek continued his terrific day with a 12-yard touchdown moving Baltimore out to a 24-3 lead at the end of three quarters.

John Settle added his second touchdown near the end of the fourth quarter, and David Trout's 40-yard field goal finalized the scoring.

Game Notes;

The Bandits lost five players to injury during the game...Anthony Toney had 67 yards on 14 carries for the Stars, who won the turnover battle, 2-1...Tampa pulled Ben Bennett at the end of the game in favor of backup Jimmy Jordan who was just 1 of 5 passing.
