Reason for optimism: Quarterback John Fourcade played well after the team benched Bobby Hebert at the end of last season.
Cause for concern: The offensive line is gritty but somewhat over-aged.
Bottom line: Fan expectations will be high especially after the addition of star running back Marcus Dupree.
